  20. I beleive the disks are physically located on the wuarchive machine.  They
  21. may well be NFS mounted on wupost as well.  The nice thing about the disks
  22. on wuarchive is that they are all available for anonymous NFS mounting!
  23. Access may be a little bit slower than you are used to, but they're
  24. right in your local machine's file system!  No having to use FTP.
  25. (Use cp instead!).  I mount them using automount on my workstation.
  26. That way, they're available to me when I need them, and not mounted
  27. when I don't (assuming the network is up, and when it isn't, you're SOL
  28. anyways).

  30. So let's see, we get SL/IP working with the TCP/IP support in LINUX, get
  31. someone to do NFS, and NFS mount the wuarchive disks over the SL/IP connection,
  32. and voila'!  Instant access to our linux archives!  I can hardly wait!

  37. I think they update their mirrors once a day or so.  I'm not sure at what
  38. hour tho.
