  24. Are these IDE drives?  A couple of years ago, I had setup a Swan 386SX
  25. w/an IDE drive for a client and under DOS would intermittently get
  26. Error reading from drive c: messages.  I talked to Swan t.s. and they
  27. suggested disabling the disk cache (I believe it was SMARTDRV I was
  28. using).  Sure 'nuff, the problem went away.

  30. Not sure what this means, but I though I'd pass it along.  BTW, I've
  31. seen a HD-reset _once_ on a 486/33 w/8MB (under Pl 4 I believe).
  32. Haven't seen it on my system (396/16 w/5MB).
