- Hi,
- 've got some trouble using Xwins v1.2
-
- System description: linuX 0.97.2.2
- Xconfig v1.2
- ET4000/1MB SVGA card
- VGA 1024*768/60 Hz monitor
-
- i haven't found out the clock values for my new et4000, so i remarked in
- Xconfig the clock (mean #clock).
- Starting the linuX in SVGA_MODE=3 and call up xinit, Xwins will start by
- finding his own clock, all things normal.
- But exiting Wins will only dump crap on the screen, the card is running now in
- a very strange unreadable mode.
- typing blind reboot will safe the system.
-
- is there someone with the same problem or anyone can help me?
