  11. 've got some trouble using Xwins v1.2

  13. System description: linuX 0.97.2.2
  14.                     Xconfig v1.2
  15.                     ET4000/1MB SVGA card
  16.                     VGA 1024*768/60 Hz monitor

  18. i haven't found out the clock values for my new et4000, so i remarked in
  19. Xconfig the clock (mean #clock).
  20. Starting the linuX in SVGA_MODE=3 and call up xinit, Xwins will start by 
  21. finding his own clock, all things normal.
  22. But exiting Wins will only dump crap on the screen, the card is running now in 
  23. a very strange unreadable mode.
  24. typing blind reboot will safe the system.

  26. is there someone with the same problem or anyone can help me?
