  18. Lest it isn't clear already, I am mostly against the new groups, with
  19. the possible exception of .announce.  I do not find that about 100
  20. messages per day is too much for one group (actually, I much prefer it
  21. it over half a dozen groups with a dozen or two messages per day).  It
  22. is pretty rude, but if you think that it is too much, perhaps you should
  23. consider getting a better newsreader?

  25. (Oh, and unless something really dramatic happens on the splitting
  26. front, I am not going to participate in the discussion anymore, which
  27. means, among other things, that I won't respond to every message with a
  28. suggestion to post a RFD.  I've said it enough times that I think that
  29. everybody is getting rather bored with me.)
