  16. I am having lots of trouble untarring files.
  17. For instance:
  18.     I FTP'd and downloaded uemacs-linux.tar.z and uncompressed it.
  19. Then, I did:  tar -xv uemacs-linux.tar
  20. The disk ran and acted as if something was happening, but when I ls'd
  21. all I saw was the .tar file staring at me still.  Could someone lead
  22. me to a man page for this sucker (preferably e-mail me one) or post some 
  23. help here on it??
