  15.    I'm running Linux 0.97pl4 without any problems, and used the SLS system
  16. to get all the utilities/compiler/goodies.  Recently I've been testing the
  17. mail system (UUCP/smail/Elm) and it has been working perfectly from the
  18. 'root' account, but when you try sending mail from any other account it
  19. fails.  Elm allows you to edit/send a message, and it seems to send the
  20. message properly, but the mailboxes remain empty.  Since it worked with
  21. root I figured it must be a problem with protection, but I checked and it
  22. is setup properly.  Anyone have any ideas?  I'm still relatively new to
  23. UN*X (but learning, thanks to Linux) so forgive my ignorance.  Also, I'm
  24. using the system right out of the package (ie. no modifications, not using
  25. UUCP).  Thanks!
