- Hi,
-
- I'm running Linux 0.97pl4 without any problems, and used the SLS system
- to get all the utilities/compiler/goodies. Recently I've been testing the
- mail system (UUCP/smail/Elm) and it has been working perfectly from the
- 'root' account, but when you try sending mail from any other account it
- fails. Elm allows you to edit/send a message, and it seems to send the
- message properly, but the mailboxes remain empty. Since it worked with
- root I figured it must be a problem with protection, but I checked and it
- is setup properly. Anyone have any ideas? I'm still relatively new to
- UN*X (but learning, thanks to Linux) so forgive my ignorance. Also, I'm
- using the system right out of the package (ie. no modifications, not using
- UUCP). Thanks!
-
