- Hi all,
-
- Want to know (And correct me if this is a stupid question) if I can use
- my Sun Workstations in conjunction with my 486 running Linux??? Would this be
- possible through TCP/IP (And if so, How???) Anyway, I am trying to get the
- suns working, I just order the SCSI host adapter and a 60 Meg Mag tape, now all
- I have to do is get the operating system. (I have it, but it's on 9 track GCR
- tapes and nobody wants to touch them...Go figure!!) anyway, I digress....If
- this is possible, I have another question (And maybe even if it's not) The Sun
- 2/50's boot automatically through the ethernet, so can linux support an
- Ethernet card and if so, can Linux be used to boot the sun???
-
- Like I said, theses MAY indeed be stupid questions. Being a relatively
- NEWBIE (Related to many other Newbies!!) I have just gotten into Linux, and got
- the sun's as a way to tear myself away from my PC box for a while (A
- hobby)(Yes, I really must get a life)
