  11. First of all I would like to thank James Henrickson for his help getting
  12. lilo to work.  Thanks.

  14. I am trying to get a mail/news feed via uucp.  I located the modified
  15. sources for taylor-uucp and they compiled with a few tweaks (the main
  16. reason I did the recompile is that the binaries were non-functional
  17. that came with the bin-dist of the package -- my guess using older
  18. shared libs (gcc2.1) of which I don't have).

  20. Now I am in the progress of trying to get the getty_ps package to
  21. work.  The problem:  no connection using either getty (on a virtual
  22. console) or uugetty (to my modem).  I compiled them with the debug
  23. mode on and ran using debug mode 0377 (show _all_ debug info).
  24. Everything appears okay here, but the process just dies.
