  15.   A friend just called and read me a blurb about a new card supposedly
  16. shipping now, using three S3 hispeed chips in grayscale mode, and with
  17. 4MB memory. This gives 1280x1024x24bit color! It's accelerated, it's
  18. (relatively) cheap, and supposedly the Windows drivers are done and (he
  19. was not clear) the X drivers are either availbale for UNIX or will be
  20. within a week or so (sept 1?).

  22.   Now if we could get this board supported, it's going to make
  23. workstation quality graphics affordable for personal use. Pricy, but
  24. affordable.
