- A friend just called and read me a blurb about a new card supposedly
- shipping now, using three S3 hispeed chips in grayscale mode, and with
- 4MB memory. This gives 1280x1024x24bit color! It's accelerated, it's
- (relatively) cheap, and supposedly the Windows drivers are done and (he
- was not clear) the X drivers are either availbale for UNIX or will be
- within a week or so (sept 1?).

- Now if we could get this board supported, it's going to make
- workstation quality graphics affordable for personal use. Pricy, but
- affordable.
