- via e-mail if not of general interest to the net:
-
- I've been using the mcc-interim 0.96c distribution for a couple weeks,
- and except for an occasional GP fault everything seems to work fine.
- The hardware is minimal: 25 mHz 386SX, 2MB of RAM, 6 MB swap, and 40MB
- IDE drive. Is it possible to still fit the the 0.97-plxx in 2 MB of
- memory, either mcc or sls distribution? Not including X11, of course.
-
- Is there now an update for fsck and documentation. I've been using
- both the fsck distributed with the package and the Minix fsck, and
- the Minix version consistently reports more anomalies in the file system.
-
- Also, not being an eecs type at our fine unversity here, I have only
- second-class computing status with $ftp resources that are too limited
- to ftp full distribution upgrades from tsx-11. Is there an archive
- server or uucp-able source for upgrades? (Please ;-)
