  29. If that's it, I've still got two questions:

  31. Why did it work so smoothly the first time and then *suddenly* start 
  32. having problems?  The hardware wasn't touched.  (The partition map
  33. and the contents of the Linux filesystems were all that could have
  34. been changed.)

  36. If I can't get Linux to run (even off of a floppy root) how can I do 
  37. *anything*?  Darn chicken-and-egg-type problem.
