- Use Lilo, it is a file-system independent boot-loader, conformant to
- some Linux peculiarities different from other boot-objects (holes in images
- which contain 0's and bss etc.).

- You can get Lilo from several ftp-sites, it has excellent documentation on
- the general boot process, and how LILO fits in.
