- Hello,
-
- dU> This post is simply to summarize my status with linux, X and my

- Ok, here are my questions (I'm an absolute beginner):
- My configuration includes an ATI-Vantage, which ist nearly the same as
- an ATI-Ultra (it is only a little slower and much cheaper...). Until now
- I am not able to start X11 with the softland (SLS) Version
- (0.96-kernel). I suppose, the problem is the missing 8514-driver and
- perhaps the bus mouse patches.
- Where can I get the stuff? How is it installed? Is it possible using the
- 0.96 kernel? ...
-
- Thanx in advance
