- I have SLIP connection to my University. Havent installed Linux (again) yet
- becasue I have sold my old hard drive in order to buy a couple of LARGE HD's
- . Question is, using Xwindows and the SLIP connection would I be able to
- run a program like Mathematica, or some other graphical program from the
- remote site and be able to expect to get the graphics output at home.
- (Going to use a v32bis modem). Any one Used X with a slip connection and
- run graphical programs? Also I could use a little educatio on TCP/IP
- (KA9Q) for Linux and how to hook up a SLIP connection to a remote site.
-
- Any help appreciated.
