  14. I am a linux newbie who has just installed MCC linux0.97.pl2 with no
  15. worries. However, when I tried to get X11 up and running by grabbing
  16. the SLS disks 11-15 and installing them I was *extremely* upset at
  17. not having the standard c library for GCC.2.2.2 since I have 
  18. GCC.2.2.2d.

  20. I have seen this question asked about 4 times in the last week or so 
  21. but I still haven't seen any answers.....

  23. could someone **PLEASE** send me/tell me where/add to the standard
  24. X11 relase/add to the FAQ where the files:

  26. libc.2.2.2, libm.2.2.2 (which really is a link to libhard.2.2.2 or
  27. libsoft.2.2.2 depending on whether you have a FP unit or not (I do)).

  29. I looked in a few GCC places (tsx-11.mit.edu and fgb1.fgb.mw.tu-muenchen.de)
  30. but these only seem to have GCC.2.2.2d and not the files I (and I am
  31. pretty sure many others) need.

  33. Please if *anyone* has *any* information could you post or mail me and
  34. I will be eternally grateful. I am not at all adverse to receiving 
  35. copies of libc.2.2.2 and libhard.2.2.2 as I *really* want to get X
  36. going but I am totally frustrated in my attempts so far.

  39. know.
