- I seem to remember someone having this problem a few weeks back and a solve
- being posted, but I lost the post. Whoever solved the problem, would you please
- Email a solution to me, or repost.
- In case I am hallucinating here is the problem again: I compiled POVray 1.0
- without error using both the gcc and the unix files, and when I tried to trace
- any of the included examples, I was given a Floating Point Exception Error and
- a cute little core dump. The compiler I am using is GCC 2.2.2 from the SLS
- release. My system is a Gateway 486/50 DX/2 and I used the -m486 option (but
- I also tried it without). I tried the X11 files too, in the hopes that those
- would work, since I run X, but there were parse errors in all of the X include
- files. If anyone can figure that error out, I'd be very thankful too.
-
- ---Also, is there an ftp site where such fixes can be posted? It would take up
- much less space if someone would just put a summary of how they ported something
- and maybe some diffs than it would be to put the entire 3MB of source there.
