- Hi again.
-
- First off thanks for all those that sent me info on how to set the ST02's
- jumpers. It worked!
-
- Now I come to another problem. The boot disk boots now then I get to the
- point where I get to login. I choose install because I want to install
- this thing on my HD. The installation script seems to be tailor written
- for everything except scsi drives. Note I've already partitioned the new
- type minix filesystem on my harddrive. When I use mkfs what number of
- blocks do I use? This is a single partition of 85 megs (it is an st296)
- Whenever it accessed the floppie I keep seeing "floppy under/overflow"
-
- What does that mean? Does it have anything to do with the message
- "Unexpected floppy interrupt" upon booting? I've tried a couple of things
- and think I copied the files onto the filesystem manually. When making the
- boot disk for linux where it tells you to read in the boot sector and
- modify offset 0508, what do I put there in area if I want the bootdisk
- to boot from scsi disk #2? Has anyone else ever done this and actually
- got it to work?
