- I seem to be having some trouble with programs I compiled for X. I
- got a bunch of files from tsx-11.mit.edu, and linked the .a's, but
- when I try to execute them, I get a core dump. At first I though it
- was the .a files being bad, but the same thing happened when I compiled
- xshowgif. I have seen some references that GCC 2.2.2d is incompatible
- with the current version of X. Is this true, and if so is there an
- expected date for versions that will be compatible with each other?
