  17. No need to rename files.  Just put the file with the non-dos-compatible
  18. name into a tar file with a dos-compatible name.  For example,

  22. and then put gccpart1.tar onto the DOS floppy.

  24. BTW, about the make problem: do you have a program called make?  If you,
  25. you should get it, it is needed to govern the compilation process.
