  17. This may not help on your problem, but: the rootimage doesn't contain a
  18. user "bin" anymore. (And the group seems to be gone too.)

  20. You can blame this on me because I've talked Jim Winstead into removing
  21. bin because of potential security problems when using NFS and carelessly
  22. exporting file systems to everyone. (Having important directories and
  23. files owned by root instead of bin makes the difference that may let your
  24. friendly intruder be root on your Suns, but not on your Linux box.)

  26. BTW, it's safer anyway to use the numeric form until there is a common
  27. "standard" setup, e.g. chown 0.0 file ...
