  12. This is a request for those several of you who have
  13. been able to port Jove for the Linux system.
  14. I know that there are 2 ports of Jove available
  15. at the ftp sites over the world, but they all
  16. use gcc 2.2.2, and seem to crash with the
  17. newer release (d).  Even with the old shared
  18. libraries, the binary gives a core dump.
  19.  
  20. Could someone who originally ported the program
  21. modify it again for the newer shared libraries?
  22. Or if you have a working version of jove
  23. for the new library please share your
  24. wealth!  :)

  27. programmer who doesn't know much besides
  28. the commands printf("Hello, world!\n")

  35. BTW, jove is the best unix editor available
  36. in my opinion.  Small, fast, and contains
  37. most of the features available in GNU Emacs.
