- Hi.
- This is a request for those several of you who have
- been able to port Jove for the Linux system.
- I know that there are 2 ports of Jove available
- at the ftp sites over the world, but they all
- use gcc 2.2.2, and seem to crash with the
- newer release (d). Even with the old shared
- libraries, the binary gives a core dump.
-
- Could someone who originally ported the program
- modify it again for the newer shared libraries?
- Or if you have a working version of jove
- for the new library please share your
- wealth! :)
-
- I'd do it myself, but am only a beginning
- programmer who doesn't know much besides
- the commands printf("Hello, world!\n")
-
- :)

- BTW, jove is the best unix editor available
- in my opinion. Small, fast, and contains
- most of the features available in GNU Emacs.
