  26. I missed the original post so I may be off base, but "date" compiled
  27. cleanly and runs OK for me.  I'm using Linux 0.97-patch2 on two machines,
  28. one version of date was compiled with GCC 2.2.2, the other was compiled
  29. with GCC 2.2.2d.
