  13. First, the usual thanks to Linus and all the people involved in getting
  14. Linux this far.

  16. But: I just pulled the new 0.97pl3 sources down from nic.funet.fi, hacked
  17. keyboard.c so that # and @ are in the right place and compiled. Thus far, no
  18. problems. However, when I copied /usr/src/linux/Image to /etc, did the rdev
  19. incantation over it and rebooted, I got the following message:

  29. BTW, I compiled the kernel using gcc 2.2.2d from the mcc-interim set (which I
