  13. I have find that the mknod() function can be executed from within a 
  14. user program.  The manual states: "Only the superuser root can use 
  15. mknod(). This is a security feature."  I find this when I forgot to
  16. change the ownership of a program to root and set the "set user id 
  17. upon execution" bit.  The program ran with out errors anyway.
  18.  
  19. Be careful as this is rather dangerous in the hands of an overage user.
  20. I hope MWC will post a fix to this rather soon.
