- Yes it does, I'm using the German national characters successfuly
- under Coherent 4.0. I haven't found a command so far, which doesn't
- work with 8 bits. The only problem is, that the algorithm of [nt]roff
- which divides words at the end of a line, can't be configurated to
- other rules as for the English language. For the German language in
- most cases it works to, but I'm not familar with your language and
- can't tell you, how it works for you.
- Also the sort command does not sort in the right order for national
- language characters, but this can be fixed with an additional filter
- or rewrite of the sort command.
