  11. I reported the same problem as the gentleman in Germany, namely,
  12. the prepare_gift() message and inability to install.  MWC Tech
  13. Support informed me that it was due to a bug in the installation
  14. software and to use the following workaround:
  15.  
  16. 1. Ignore the prepare_gift() message.
  17. 2. When you get the '#' prompt, type the following:
  18. # cd bin
  19. # build
  20.  
  21. The installation will proceed as per the manual.
