I am very discouraged and in despair about ever getting a newsfeed.
I've been spending about thirty hours a week on this; if I had any
idea of the difficulty involved.. Oh, mwc, why don't you provide us
w/ a working newsfeed, a simple one like the mail system provided?

With help from [e-mail] I have several of the makes
finished in cnews. /libc/make will not work because "NOFILE
redefined". Does anyone know how to fix this? I just took it out of
the makefile and /input then compiled> Is this gonna work?

Now I am on /expire, /relay, /batch, and /misc. These will not
compile w/o libdbm.a which I cannot get! I got sdbm.Z from raven, a
file 90955 bytes long, mking sure to use binary transfer, and core
dumped when I tried to uncompress. a file I got at the same time,
cnewsp1.tar.Z worked. I tried to get the files from mwcbbs, but as
others know their BBS is broken.

Look, I just want a leaf site. I'll get my newsgroups from _one_
host, and only feed back those postings I make. Can _anyone_
provide me with something that _I_ can make work? I work 40 hours a
week as a controller; I don't have the energy to become a C guru
and script expert. I just want to read the net.
