  11. An appeal for help....
  12. I have an internet news feed. I have a working uuccico connection 
  13. with it. I have a working newsreader, Tin. what I lack is a working 
  14. rnews, etc.

  16. I have the cnews source as posted on mwcbbs. I have been working 
  17. from the Install script written for Coho. The dir's are made and 
  18. chmoded, the news uid and group, and so forth. Some of the makes do 
  19. not work. Could someone pls help with these -

  21. 1- make in /libc exits with "NOFILE redifined". I can see it is, to 
  22. _NFILE in closeall.c. what is wrong with this?

  24. 2- make bininstall in /input /batch and /misc exit with "must be 
  25. created w/ ar -s option". How do I do this?

  27. 3- make bininstall in /expire and /relay exit with "libdbm.a : cannot 
  28. open". Is this lib missing from Coho, if so where can I get it, or 
  29. is it renamed?

  31. I have been struggling w/ various aspects of this system since 
  32. purchasing it. I would be very grateful to anyone who could help me 
  33. to finish my newfeed.

  35. Note to mwc- I would gladly have paid 50% more for a Coherent that 
  36. had a newsfeed/reader as a part of it.
