  21. I am considering writing a multi-track recorder for MS Windows 3.1.  However,
  22. before getting started, I need answers to the following questions:

  24. 1.    Can sound cards (soundblaster, etc) play and record at the same time.
  25.     This is important - a musician would want to record one track, and
  26.     then record another track while listening to the first track.
  27.  
  28. 2.    Has a multi track recorder already been written?  Is it any good?
  29.     Is it shareware?
