Just a note: "MacroMedia" isn't a software product, it's the name of a
software company. That company was produced by the merger of AuthorWare
and MacroMind/ParaComp (itself the product of a merger). Thus there is
no such product as "Macromind Macromedia", while "MacroMind Director" should
probably now be called "MacroMedia Director".

In the meantime, it's amusing to note that, if you want to create animations
for playback with the Windows Multimedia Extensions, you have to do it on a
Mac...
