  18. Some Universities offer an Integrated Studies program, which allows you 
  19. to develop a customized degree (if the Dean approves it).  I just 
  20. graduated from the University of Nebraska with an Integrated Studies 
  21. degree in Multimedia Computing.  It was about half Computer Science; and 
  22. half a mix of media-related topics such as Film Studies, audio, Video 
  23. Production, acting, art, and some special topics degrees where I worked 
  24. one-on-one with a professor on a multimedia presentation.

  26. I started several years ago, when mm wasn't so popular; but it was fun, 
  27. and to my knowledge I'm the first person in the world with a degree in 
  28. Multimedia Computing.  I'm job-hunting now, and the only hard part is 
  29. that I want to stay in Nebraska or Colorado to stay close to family.  
  30. If there's a center to mm, it's the Bay area.  I may yet wind up there.

  32. You might want to check out San Francisco State, they are offering a 
  33. couple of courses in mm.  If you don't like California, try asking 
  34. the college of you choice about a specialized degree.  A few people 
  35. will give you a funny look, but don't get discouraged until someone 
  36. who knows for sure says 'no'.  Good luck, please let me know how it 
  37. turns out.
