- I noticed this too. Here in Chicago we non-students are able to buy
- both Macs at low price, too.
-
- 1) Bear in mind that the LC II not only prices its CPU cheaper, you
- have the option of adding a mere 12" monochrome if you like for just
- $200 (as opposed to $400 for the color 12" and $600 for the color 13").
- I have yet to see a IIsi with a 12" by the way. Do people buy them
- that way, or are they prohibited because the si doesn't support it?
-
- 2) The LC II is a very speedy computer. I use a Classic and wish I
- had it for things like desktop publishing. I would think of LC II as
- occupying the high end for personal use and the si as the low end
- for business use.
-
- Just my thoughts.
