  12. I too was unhappy to see that the rates are being increased.
  13. The only thing which could make me happy at this point would
  14. be to find out that *P* is using [some/all] of the rate increase
  15. to upgrade their hardware to support 9600.  They included a
  16. reference to this project in the rate increase bulletin, although
  17. a few more details would be nice.

  19. I've also heard some people who have taken part in the 9600 beta
  20. program didn't get acceptable refresh even at the higher line rates;
  21. does anyone have more info on this?  If their graphics protocol is
  22. so bad that 9600 won't cure it, I might go ahead and cancel anyway.
