- I have seen yesterday in a kind of stock liquidator's shop two original
- boxes of IBM's Xenix for the PC/XT. It was an excellent release, solid,
- polished, efficient, very small memory demands (it would happily run in
- astandard XT, no expanded memory, a *maximum* of 640KB). Rochkind used
- it to write the 'Advanced Unix Programming' book.
-
- Highly recommended; it made an XT equivalent to a PDP-11/34, which could
- easily run 5 users without problems, and imperceptible response time.
