  12. In the last couple of days, I sent faxes asking the following mail order
  13. companies for the prices of the Toshiba 3300SL and some accessories
  14. (shipment to Miami/FL):

  16. PCs Compleat             J&R Computer World
  17. Willoughby's             CompUSA (Miami/FL retail shop)
  18. 47th Street Photo        Computer Options
  19. Unitek                   USA FLEX (two faxes)
  20. S&W Computers            United Computer Express
  21. MicroSolutions
  22.  
  23. So far, only the following companies bothered to reply (lowest price
  24. first):
  25. 1) MicroSolutions        2) PCs Compleat (offer lowest price guarantee)
  26. 3) United Comp. Expr.    4) Comp. Opt. (listed wrong memory expansion)

  28. Have any of you shared this experience when asking for quotations? The
  29. companies who didn't reply don't seem to need my business (and gave me a
  30. good impression how seriously take their customer service).
