-
- there is no way FSUUCP is anything near the most popular one.
- a few months ago, I did a check of the maps and there were something like
- 10 sites registered (in the maps) as running FSUUCP, 130 with UUPC/extended,
- and >200 running Waffle.
-
- Every once in a while I check my news history files and I come up with at
- least 300 waffle sites posting things in the last 30 days to comp+news+sci
- (no 'fun' groups, so the total is no doubt higher).

-
- yeah, I liked it too but the snews posting mechanism is kind'a hokey.
-
- I took Waffle and hooked in snews as a threaded newsreader and it
- worked great.
-
- I've also used FSUUCP in various versions and it's getting there, but
- personally I still like the reliability of Waffle or UUPC.
