  19. there is no way FSUUCP is anything near the most popular one.
  20. a few months ago, I did a check of the maps and there were something like
  21. 10 sites registered (in the maps) as running FSUUCP, 130 with UUPC/extended,
  22. and >200 running Waffle.

  24. Every once in a while I check my news history files and I come up with at
  25. least 300 waffle sites posting things in the last 30 days to comp+news+sci
  26. (no 'fun' groups, so the total is no doubt higher).

  34. yeah, I liked it too but the snews posting mechanism is kind'a hokey.

  36. I took Waffle and hooked in snews as a threaded newsreader and it
  37. worked great.

  39. I've also used FSUUCP in various versions and it's getting there, but
  40. personally I still like the reliability of Waffle or UUPC.
