  18. sorta off the subject but....I just flew in from the US therefore I'm
  19. completely brain dead with jet lag from hell...anyway..

  21. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere.  A while ago I was having a strange
  22. sendmail problem.  The problem was that I was freezing the sendmail config
  23. file.  Apparently this is silently broken with SunOS 4.1.2 (at least). SOoooo

  25. DO NOT FREEZE YOUR SENDMAIL CONFIG FILE (i.e. don't do a /usr/lib/sendmail -bz).

  27. Freezing the config file was only really useful as a performance improvement
  28. back when we had 30 users on a VAX 11/780.  Not as useful now with SS10s
  29. sitting on everybody's desk.
