- well, first of all, I run a news system at 2400, I just don't receive
- a lot of groups. However, that's not the main point of this reply...

- I think a registered domain name (either FQD or subdomain of someone else's
- systems) AND uucp name should be a requirement. I have both, many people I
- know and many people I converse with on Usenet have both, and it does not
- cost money (or much time) to get either. I see software such as smail (I have
- version 2.5) as a necessity also, for Unix systems ... we need a base to
- work from. How many people are running those older systems with the older
- software?
