  10. Can anyone tell me why PC-Scheme (v. 3.02) runs ok on 386's, but not on 486's?
  11. We've tried various brands of 486's, without success.  On a 486, the error
  12. message (for valid program statements) is usually:

  14.         [Syntax Error] Expression has too many subexpressions.
  15.  
  16. Looked at the most recent FAQ list, but it doesn't state any restrictions for
  17. PC-Scheme.  What causes the error?  Is there a patch, or do people use a
  18. different PC implementation of Scheme.
