- Regarding TP 7.0, I looked it up in a magazine database, and came across

- Borland gives sneak preview of Pascal duo. (Borland International Inc.
- previews Pascal with Objects development software, Turbo Pascal 7.0)
- PC Week v9, n34 (August 24, 1992):4.
-
- Abstract:
- Borland International Inc previewed two upcoming Pascal language products at
- the 1992 Windows & OS/2 Conference in Boston. The company is preparing Turbo
- Pascal 7.0, an upgrade to its flagship Pascal development environment, and
- Borland Pascal with Objects, an object-oriented development system featuring
- a library of objects for developing in both DOS and Windows environments.
- Borland Pascal with Objects will reportedly begin beta testing in Sep 1992,
- with Turbo Pascal 7.0 following shortly thereafter. The object program will
- let programmers build applications by culling objects from a library and
- writing code to link them together. It will be sold with a built-in 16-bit
- DOS extender that complies with Microsoft's DOS Protected Mode Interface.
- Borland Pascal for Objects will reportedly be priced at $495. Turbo Pascal
- 7.0 for DOS will feature a similar DOS extender and will let developers
- create applications that run in protected mode.
