  14. Mueller and SV-FIG presented some interesting ideas, although I have
  15. reservations about whether concealing fundamental concepts e.g. postfix
  16. notation  is the way to present it successfully. If people want to use BASIC,
  17. they can and will.

  19. But I am intrigued by the concept of a shell like a set of training wheels
  20. that could go on top of various implementations. Rather than develop "yet
  21. another Forth" with these characteristics, it seems like a great idea to
  22. present it as a shell, much like some of the UNIX shells that helped overcome
  23. some of its more obnoxious features a few years ago.
