  35. Agreed.  The 8031 ran a control panel and talked to a 
  36. much larger machine that did use Ada.  The cost of switching to
  37. an Ada-capable processor with all the attendant support chips etc, 
  38. would have blown the cost (and size and power and weight!) of the box 
  39. through the roof.  And that was without adding the cost for
  40. all the support software (cross-compilers, etc) since that was
  41. al ready available.
