- . Hello:
- . I want to know if somebody can answer my question.
- . The thing is that i made sim-links to local ftp sytes and i used the -c option
- . and the problem is that it only works with the anonymous ftp of my machine
- . and i can't link other campus ftp sytes, i'm confused because it works with
- . wuarchive.wustl.edu in the examples directory.
-
- Hmmm, where is your server running? I'd like to diagnose it from here..
-
- . The second thing is that i want to know what is the diference between load
- . de gopherd with or without the -c option.
-
- -c uses secure file-opening routines developed by myself. These
- routines are meant to be secure, however it's possible they aren't...
-
- Otherwise when gopherd runs it uses the chroot() call to protect file
- accesses.
