  25. I am new to animation (but heading into multimedia *fast*!); has anyone
  26. compiled a glossary of terminology for us novices? Or... does a faq exist
  27. (group just showed up here today - but that doesn't mean that it didn't
  28. appear elsewhere earlier!).

  30. I know of (but have not used) Autodesk Animator / Animator Pro; obviously,
  31. this is but one of many packages.  Eventual goal: Creation of VHS 15 minute
  32. to 2-hour minute animation at 30 frames per second, with sound (stereo...)
  33. Ambitious, right? 8*)  ...and yes, I intend to get a *very* big HD... 1.2
  34. gig or better...  Kinda locked into Intel Silicon...  So ... any advice
  35. on what would be needed to achieve high-quality animation with sound?

  37. I know ... get an SG ... wish I could!  BTW - what do they cost?

  39. Current platform: 486-33, Viewsonic 6, Tseng 4000 (slow for what I need),
  40. Dos 5.0, 8 MB main memory, 318MB HD, Windows 3.1, PAS16...
