- Hi all,
-
- Out of curiosity, what graphic package (i.e. SGI, XPHIGS, ... etc.)
- do people use for 3D animation? What are the strengths and
- weaknesses of each graphic package in terms of availability,
- performance, ease of use, flexibility... etc.
-
- I've used 4GL provided by the SGI before and I am very pleased
- by it. However, the problem is that it will only work on the
- SGI machine. I would prefer to have something which will work
- under X Window System (hmm, time to learn XPHIGS?)
-
- Thanks for any information. Please post answer to this newsgroup
- as it may be general interest to everyone.
