  10. Yes, it's a FAQ, but does anyone have source code for doing Heckbert
  11. quantization?

  13. What I want is to convert Targa files from the POV raytracer to Gif files,
  14. but I don't want to put a whole bitmap manipulation package on the PC, and
  15. I don't think it's reasonable to pay 80 bucks for image alchemy just for
  16. one type of file conversion.

  18. I've looked at algorithm articles, but I'm sure that someone has taken the
  19. time to do this for POV.  I'd like to be able to do 1024x768 images.  If
  20. nobody has done this, maybe I'll have to write a special-purpose converter.
