  13. I am wondering what software does people use to annotate data on the map.
  14. Our data is in the longtitude, latitude(ie LOND LONM LATD LATM) format.  
  15. Currently, we are using SAS Graph to do this. The procedures involve 
  16. the use of GPROJECT to project points, and the ANNOTATE facility to
  17. superimpose the data points onto the map. 
  18.  
  19. A few criteria that we are considering as well...
  20. The software should
  21. 1. support Postscript and/or Calcomp plotter drivers.
  22. 2. support multiple symbols. ( we'd like to be able to display 2~3 data
  23.    sets at the same time.
  24. 3. support clipping (e.g. clip according to longmin/longmax/latmax/latmin)
