- ************** Call for Demos ****************
-
- The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is creating a 7000 sq.
- ft. permanent exhibit on Imaging Science which will open in the Fall
- of 1993. The museum is currently looking for working demos in the
- following areas:
-
- * Virtual Reality
- * Scientific Visualization
- * Visualization of Earth Surface Data (esp. Chicago Area)
- * Physical Model Simulation
- * 3D Object and Scene Rendering
- * Image Processing & Enhancement
- * Artistic Imaging
-
- The museum is particularly looking for real time, interactive demos
- that would appeal to a broad, non-scientific, non-technical audience.
-
- The demos *must* adhere to the following requirements:
-
- * Be *FULLY* working.
- * Have complete source code available which the museum can modify.
- * Be visually exciting.
- * Demonstrate an important aspect of Imaging Science technology
- and its uses.
-
- This is a great chance to put your hard work where it will be
- inspirational to the next generation of thinkers, while earning well
- deserved public recognition of your endeavors!
