  14. The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is creating a 7000 sq.
  15. ft.  permanent exhibit on Imaging Science which will open in the Fall
  16. of 1993.  The museum is currently looking for working demos in the
  17. following areas:
  18.  
  19. *  Virtual Reality
  20. *  Scientific Visualization
  21. *  Visualization of Earth Surface Data (esp. Chicago Area)
  22. *  Physical Model Simulation
  23. *  3D Object and Scene Rendering
  24. *  Image Processing & Enhancement
  25. *  Artistic Imaging
  26.  
  27. The museum is particularly looking for real time, interactive demos
  28. that would appeal to a broad, non-scientific, non-technical audience.
  29.  
  30. The demos *must* adhere to the following requirements:
  31.  
  32. *  Be *FULLY* working.
  33. *  Have complete source code available which the museum can modify.
  34. *  Be visually exciting.
  35. *  Demonstrate an important aspect of Imaging Science technology
  36.    and its uses.
  37.  
  38. This is a great chance to put your hard work where it will be
  39. inspirational to the next generation of thinkers, while earning well
  40. deserved public recognition of your endeavors!
