- Probably most 24bit images you will come across will be in the
- JFIF format, which uses JPEG compression. The files normally have
- the extension .jpg. There are several viewers for MS Windows,
- including ColorView, WinJpeg, and Jview. I used Jview because it
- is free. It is in file jview90.zip in the pub/pc/win3/desktop
- directory on:
- ftp.cica.indiana.edu 129.79.20.84
-
- The other two programs are shareware and are in the same directory
- as winjp120.zip and cview386.zip.
-
- Someone on CIS purports to have a .cfg file for VPIC 5.1 that
- works in the 32K color modes on the 24X. I am working on adding
- 15 and 24bit support to the viewer I wrote.
