- Many graphics cards offer different amount of colors at different resolutions.
- Say 640*480*16.7mil
- 1024*758*256
- 800*600*65K
-
- Now if I was using a GUI operating system like OS/2, and set the system to one
- resolution, say the highest one of 1024*758*256. Now if I want to see graphics
- with 16.7mil colors, do I have to reconfig the system for the proper
- resolution & reboot, or will the system open a 640*480*16.7mil window???
-
- It seems rather silly to have to reconfig and reboot in order to see more
- colors.
